I’ll be the first to admit we are nerds. Remember what we dressed up as for Halloween? Well, we embrace our nerdiness!
What a better way to showcase being a nerd than celebrating Pi Day with friends.
We started with homemade turkey pot pie. (The instructions said to cut slits in the top, but I couldn’t just cut normal slits!)
After dinner we moved on to apple pie for dessert.
Then the pi games began. Everyone picked a circular object. We measured the circumference and diameter with yarn which we later measured with our ruler. The person who got closest to pi, wins!
Aaron picked a plate.
I “helped” Brian measure his toy while he played with another.
Our friend Travis helped his son Jared measure his string.
Brian wanted to measure his toy not his string.
Travis won first place, Aaron got second and I came in third. We had a lot of fun and hope to celebrate Pi day for years to come!
